Get to know Dr. Lusso
Dr. Maria Lusso is a clinical psychology fellow at MAPP. She completed her postdoctoral residency and APA-accredited psychology internship at WellSpan Philhaven in York, PA, and earned her doctorate in clinical psychology – with a concentration in Health Psychology – from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL, where her research focused on pediatric cancer and school reintegration.
Dr. Lusso has provided psychological services in hospitals, private practice, community mental health clinics, and primary care, including psychosocial support for children with medical conditions such as cancer, sickle cell, and diabetes. She offers evidence-based treatment for anxiety, depression, grief, and other concerns, and is committed to a collaborative environment where young patients feel safe to explore their feelings, develop coping skills, and improve their quality of life.
