Breathing & Allergy Care

Asthma & Allergy Care

Ongoing support for childhood asthma and allergies, including diagnosis, trigger review, medication-device coaching, and personalized action plans.

Comprehensive Pediatric Care

Support for breathing easier and staying active

Asthma and allergy concerns may first come up during a sick visit, a preventive visit, or after symptoms begin affecting sleep, school, or play. Your child’s pediatric provider can evaluate symptoms, help identify triggers, and develop an ongoing treatment plan.

Care may include

  • Evaluation of new or changing symptoms
  • Review of allergy and environmental triggers
  • Inhaler, spacer, nebulizer, and medication coaching
  • Personalized action plans for home, school, and caregivers

Maintenance visits

Follow-up timing depends on your child’s symptoms and level of control. The pediatrician may recommend check-ins every few months or at least yearly, and may request an evaluation before renewing medicines so the plan stays safe and effective.

New or worsening symptoms

Call your child’s practice for new symptoms, frequent coughing or wheezing, nighttime symptoms, exercise limitations, or increased rescue-medicine use. For severe trouble breathing or another emergency, call 911.
