MAPP Behavioral Health

Behavioral health support for children, teens & parents

Families can begin with a consultation with their child’s MAPP pediatric provider or contact the Behavioral Health team directly. Choose the starting point that best fits your family’s needs.

Getting Started

Choose how to begin

Families can begin with the MAPP pediatric provider who knows their child or contact MAPP Behavioral Health directly.

Talk with your pediatric provider

Choose this path if you would like help understanding a new concern or deciding what support may be appropriate. Schedule a consultation with your child’s MAPP practice. If specialty care is needed, the provider can make an internal referral.

Contact Behavioral Health directly

Families who are ready to discuss Behavioral Health services can contact the intake team directly. The team can review the concern and explain the appropriate next step.

How we can help

Behavioral Health Consultations

Short-term help with behaviors, stress, habits, or emotional concerns affecting daily life – such as anxiety, ADHD, sleep, and coping. A problem-focused assessment with a psychologist, followed by skill-building and a few follow-ups when helpful.

Therapy

Short-term psychotherapy for children with mild to moderate concerns, focused on educating the child and family. Usually recommended after an evaluation or consultation.

Group Therapy

We offer group therapy at select times throughout the year. Contact us about current offerings.

Psychological Evaluation

Psychological and psychoeducational assessments for diagnostic clarity and treatment recommendations. Testing is offered in person at our Metropolitan Pediatrics and THH Pediatrics locations; intakes and clinical interviews can be virtual. Results are usually completed within 4–6 weeks of the last testing appointment.
