Preventive Care

Vaccines & Immunizations

Timely immunization protects children, families, and the wider community. Our clinicians follow current pediatric guidance and help each family understand what is recommended and when.

Why it matters

Safe, effective protection

Vaccines are one of the safest, most effective ways to protect your child and our community. We’re always happy to talk through any questions you have.

Proven protection

Vaccines guard against serious, preventable childhood illnesses.

On schedule

We follow the AAP immunization schedule, tailored to your child.

Questions are welcome

We take time to answer your questions.

Our Approach

Evidence-based immunization care

MAPP strongly recommends timely vaccination according to current pediatric guidance. Delaying or separating vaccines can leave children unprotected when they are most vulnerable and is not the schedule our clinicians recommend.

If you have questions about safety, timing, prior records, or a specific vaccine, please bring them to your child’s clinician. A thoughtful conversation is part of good preventive care.

What families can expect

  • Recommendations based on your child’s age, health history, and records
  • Clear answers about benefits, possible reactions, and timing
  • Help catching up when vaccines were missed or records are incomplete

Current Guidance

Use the latest official schedules

Immunization recommendations can change as new evidence is reviewed. These official resources stay current, while your child’s clinician can explain how the guidance applies to your family.

Schedule Immunizations

Choose your child’s practice

Vaccines may be given during a well-child visit or, when appropriate, at a separate vaccine visit. Contact the practice where your child receives care so the team can review what is due and schedule the right visit.
