Well-Child Visits in North Bethesda

Well-child care at Metropolitan Pediatrics

Preventive visits give your child’s provider time to follow growth and development, provide vaccines and screening, and help your family prepare for the next stage.

Your child’s preventive care home

What happens at a well visit

Your provider reviews growth, development, physical and emotional health, family questions, age-appropriate safety, and preventive care. The exact exam, vaccines, and screening depend on your child’s age, health history, records, and current guidance.

At Metro, well visits follow the Bright Futures preventive-care schedule and are tailored to your child’s records, age, and individual needs.

Schedule ahead

Well visits often book weeks in advance. Metropolitan Pediatrics recommends scheduling about three months ahead when possible, especially before school and sports seasons.
