THH Pediatrics has cared for Germantown families since 1997, when the practice was founded by longtime Washingtonian “Top Doctor” Dr. Sandra Takai. As a division of Mid Atlantic Pediatric Partners, we continue that tradition of compassionate, evidence-based care in a nurturing environment.

Four of our pediatricians have been named Washingtonian “Top Doctors.” Before each well visit, families complete CHADIS, our interactive online screening tool. This helps your pediatrician review concerns ahead of time and focus the visit on what matters most.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this pediatric practice. Our family first came to them during an extremely difficult and uncertain time in our son’s health, and I will always be grateful that we were directed to their office. Dr. Fishel has guided us through countless difficult days, frightening evenings, and many emergency room visits. His compassion, professionalism, patience, and attentiveness have meant more to our family than words can express. He listened carefully, answered our questions, created thoughtful treatment plans, and helped us understand what to watch for as our son grew. His guidance gave us reassurance and confidence while navigating very challenging circumstances as parents. Every doctor who has cared for our son has been kind, thorough, supportive, and genuinely invested in his well-being. The nurses, front-office team, and entire staff are also incredibly friendly, compassionate, and helpful. We have always been treated with patience, kindness, and respect. Our daughter has received the same wonderful care since she was three. We are deeply grateful for this entire team and wholeheartedly recommend them to any family seeking knowledgeable, caring, and truly dedicated pediatric care.

Hands down the best experience. We absolutely love the practice. We’ve been going here for almost 8 years. They’re very thorough. Our kids love the doctors. We usually prefer to see Dr. Holstein (aka silly doctor) but they are all fantastic! The hours are great. They used to do Saturdays - we probably only used it once though. We always have great turnaround time for the after hours on call doctor. Something new they’ve done is offering an in-house lactation consultant. Not only is she AMAZING but I think this makes their practice standout and ensure a successful nursing journey. Since you already have to be in office for doctor appts might as well have all the resources right there.

THH is great! The doctors and nurses take really well care of our kids. Dr. Odei is phenomenal and makes sure that our kiddos are taken care of and our questions are answered. The office has really good communications as well and the after hours call support is critical with young kids

My 7-year-old recently had a poke injury to his eye, and the on-call physician and nurse were very prompt in providing medical advice. They also followed up the next day to check on his condition and see whether an appointment was needed. The office is very flexible in accommodating. same-day sick visits and quick check-up appointments when needed. One area for improvement is the waiting time during well visits, as appointments have been delayed by around 30 minutes before seeing the doctor.

Dr. Jayne Holstein is an exceptional pediatrician. My daughter Bella (now 9) truly looks forward to every visit, which speaks volumes. She is kind, attentive, and always puts Bella’s best interests first. She takes the time to truly listen and makes both parent and child feel heard, comfortable, and cared for.
